Title: Equipping Ministry Team – Co-Leadership Position
Purpose: To grow faith by expanding leadership roles within St. Luke’s.
Responsible to: Director of Servant Ministry, Executive Team and Clergy Team
Key Responsibility: To lead our team as we invite people into servant (volunteer) ministry and leadership opportunities.
Description of Duties: Coordinate team meetings. Co-facilitate team invitations and transitions. Support Leadership training in January. Confirm in faith that our invitations are Spirit-Led. Attend Executive Team meetings and Common Table-type gatherings.
Time Requirements: Meetings held: Spring-welcome new team members, Aug-Nov. Work closely with the Director of Servant Ministry and the Equipping team to plan and follow through with invitations and confirmation of team members.
Term: 1-2 years
Training and Resources: “Nominations and Leadership Development” guidelines from conference, Leadership Handbook, Spiritual Gifts Assessment.
Skills and gifts: Administration, Discernment, Faith, Encouragement, and Leadership
